Do you know any family that hasn’t been touched by cancer?
Today, almost everyone knows someone with cancer. A family member, friend, coworker, neighbor, maybe even yourself. Ministry to cancer patients and their families is critical to their health, well being, support and recovery. Often people don’t know what to say to someone with cancer. FREE training is available through the Pastoral Care department of Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA). A four-hour session will be held at NEW HOPE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 3707 EDGEWOOD DR., CINTI, OH 45211 on Saturday, Nov. 15th. Registration and breakfast start at 9:00 a.m. with the program following from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Call New Hope Church at 513-661-2428 today and register to attend. You’ll gain valuable preparation for ministry to others or to someone in your own family. Registration deadline is November 5th. When calling give your name, address, phone #, email and church affiliation.

Under the Bridge
The people living under the bridge are in need of coats, blankets and firewood. Kathy Casper is also looking for people who own trucks to help transport these items after they have been collected. For more information please contact Kathy Casper, kacasp@yahoo.com or 218-9798.
Mt. Airy Holiday Dinner
The annual holiday dinner for the Mt. Airy shelter will be Sunday, December 7th, right after the celebration. This has been a wonderful outreach that blesses those from the church as much as those at the shelter. Since the Vineyard Westside is about the only church that ministers to these guys, they are very much looking forward to us being there again this year. If you would like to donate food, or just come and fellowship with the guys, please contact Kathy Casper at kacasp@yahoo.com or phone (513) 218-9798.
