Common Ground
This is an effort to share what we have with those in need. Grab a yellow bag in the lobby and fill it up with the suggested items; bring it back and be a blessing to a family in need that week. Each bag should contain:
5 Cans of soup, stew, or chili (any combination)
5 cans of veggies or fruit (any combination)
1 box of rice, pasta, or dried potatoes
1 box of oats or cereal
Deodorant, toothpaste, soap, or toilet paper
Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Acts 2:43-45

Ignition
One of the ways we say “Love Wins” is through our actions as servants. Sometimes we bring people groceries, and other times we pass out free water on street corners or at local parks. Whatever it is we do, it’s simply to let people know that God loves them with no strings attached. Our current project is the Club Refuge building renovation project.

Missions
We are partnering with Great Commission Church in Kenya to raise $15,000 for a school to dig a well and pay the teaching staff for two years. (To financially contribute to this, mark “Africa” on the memo line and drop a check in the seed box.) A group will be traveling to Kenya in May 2008.

You can support our mission by buying a t-shirt, or a coffee mug. Watch for them in the Courtyard. I also offer personal training as a way to fund our mission projects. Fitness classes start Sunday Sept. 7th at 2:30 for 6 weeks. Location is Club AMA on Ebenezer & Cleves Warsaw. Make checks payable to Vineyard Westside with Honduras on the memo line and a note stating who the check is supporting.
