Throughout the year, Vineyard Westside hosts Thrive Night where multiple classes are held on the same evening. The list of available classes is always changing, but we hold a certain number of core classes that are always available.
Christ's Teachings
Come join us in this 9 week Thrive class as we look at what Jesus taught. Some of the weekly topics will be parables, the Kingdom, John chapter 3, the greatest command. Thru this class of participation and discussion we will learn what Jesus taught and thought about various topics. We will also explore how each of us can read and understand what Jesus said in the gospels. Classes will begin Thursday February 18, 2010 at 6:45 PM. Sign up in the Courtyard or online. Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course meets once per week for 10 weeks, and includes an amazing one-day intensive. During each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Is there more to life than this? - Alpha is part of Vineyard Westside's DNA. This class is a must. Marriage: Relight the Fire
This 4 week class is designed to help married couples make what is good in their marriage even better and to give tools to work through kinks. The class will consist of Biblical teaching, practical application processes, and an open forum/Town Hall discussion format. There is no fee for this class. Please bring a notepad and pen to class. Women's Bible Study
Are you looking for greater freedom in Christ? Find the abundant and spirit-filled life God has planned for you. Join us for Beth Moore's “Breaking Free” Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life.
The study is a part of Thrive night and will start Thursday night, Jan. 21, 2010. The bible study does require the purchase of a workbook. Scholarships will be available. Please have book paid for by the Women's Brunch or at the Courtyard by that weekend, Jan. 16th and 17th. Child care will not be available those nights. Let us know if there is a definite need and we will look into volunteers.
